Join us for a fun and educational family whitewater rafting trip through Split Mountain Gorge on the Green River. Children as young as six can participate on this splashy adventure in Dinosaur National Monument. We teach people how to raft every day so grab a paddle and explore the land of dinosaurs, wild geologic folding and colorful canyon history on a raft.
Four-day Gates of Lodore rafting trips with Adrift Adventures cover 44 river miles on the Green River in the heart of Dinosaur National Monument. Start rafting at Gates of Lodore in Colorado and end at Split Mountain Campground in Utah. Experience beautiful scenery and multiple class III rapids along the way. This is not exactly roughing it. This five-day Yampa River whitewater rafting trip meanders 72 miles through three beautiful canyons on two rivers in the heart of Dinosaur National Monument. Spend the first three days exploring Yampa Canyon on the Yampa River in Colorado. On day four enter the Green River to follow part of John Wesley Powell’s route through Whirlpool Canyon and Split Mountain Gorge.
